Setting the Agenda for Patient and Public Involvement in Cancer Survivorship Research in Older Adulthood

This is a research study led by Dr Amanda Drury who is a nurse researcher from University College Dublin.  The study team would like to identify the most important topics for cancer and cancer care research involving people over the age of 65 who are living with and after cancer.

This study will help to ensure that future research projects on cancer and cancer care in older adulthood are focused on the issues that are most important to people who are living with and after cancer.

They would like to invite people who are living with and after cancer, and their family members and caregivers to participate in a series of short questionnaires about research topics which should be prioritised in cancer care for older adults. The study team are also inviting healthcare professionals, researchers, and advocacy professionals to share their views in this study.

We would appreciate if you might be in a position to share information about this study with your teams and service users.

Please find attached a copy of the study advertisement and participant information leaflet. The study has received ethical approval from UCD.
