ACPOPC are looking for a new student committee member to help us broaden the knowledge in our committee. We believe that oncology and palliative care are growing specialities within physiotherapy and would love to further understand how we can support physiotherapy students to develop their knowledge in these areas.
We are looking for: • An enthusiastic student physiotherapist, committed to improving oncology and palliative care knowledge among fellow students. • Commitment to attend four committee meetings a year (usually 2 afternoons in London & 2 attached to study days). • Agreement to actively take part in committee activity, including working as a liaison between physiotherapy students & the committee & supporting qualiﬁed members of the committee in their roles. In return we will offer you: • A chance to work alongside passionate, experienced physiotherapists on the committee with an expertise in their ﬁeld. • Excellent CPD opportunities, including free attendance at ACPOPC study days. • A fantastic experience to have on your CV to help you towards securing your ﬁrst job as a qualiﬁed physiotherapist. • Development of new skills on the committee that will be transferrable for your future career. • Expenses paid for travelling to committee meetings and study days. • Free membership of ACPOPC & the associated beneﬁts of this.
