The International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC), is currently implementing a project to determine the current status of palliative care
education in undergraduate levels in health related careers (medical, nursing,
psychology, pharmacy, social work, etc) around the globe.
The IAHPC has convened a working group of internal and external leaders in palliative care.
The working group has developed a survey to identify resources and strategies that have resulted in good outcomes and perform cross-country and in-country comparisons. We think that these resources and strategies will also provide guidance to other countries that are interested in advancing palliative care education and improving skills and knowledge for palliative care provision. A final report with results will be prepared and presented to the World Health Organization (WHO) as part of the agreement of work of IAHPC and WHO and the results will be used in publications that will help disseminate the critical importance of including palliative care in undergraduate levels.
If you currently work teaching undergraduate in a health related field, please reply to the survey in the link below:
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. Feel free to also share with colleagues and friends that teach palliative care in undergraduate levels.
The survey will close on February 28, 2018.
