The National Cancer Survivorship Initiative (NCSI) commissioned the BSG to develop clinical guidance for professionals who are seeing increasing numbers of patients with distressing long term bowel problems after cancer treatments. The scope of the guidance includes both acute and chronic effects of the main types of cancer treatments on both upper and lower GI function.
